Sean earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Florida State University in 1995, and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1996, after passing the exam on his first attempt.
Sean began his legal career with the same sole practitioner in Gainesville for whom he had clerked while studying for the Bar exam. While there, Sean began defending jury trial cases and wrote two appellate briefs for the 11th Federal Circuit Court in Atlanta. Sean then began 7-years of service as an Assistant Public Defender in Pensacola, Orlando, and Broward County. During that time, Sean represented thousands of people, tried dozens of cases, wrote many appeals and trained and supervised new attorneys.
Prior to joining the firm, Sean had his own successful defense practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
